Dear Seward Community,

Welcome to the second edition of the City of Seward Planning & Zoning Commission Newsletter. We are excited to continue this monthly update as a way to keep you informed about the work of the Commission and how it impacts the Seward community.

In this edition, we highlight the upcoming agenda for the December 2nd Planning & Zoning
meeting, including development proposals and land use matters that impact our community.

Our goal remains the same: to provide transparency, foster understanding, and invite meaningful participation from community members in shaping Seward’s future.

The Planning & Zoning Commission continues to serve as your appointed body to review
proposals, deliberate on zoning and subdivision standards, and recommend actions that reflect Seward’s vision for balanced growth. Meanwhile, the Community Development Department remains committed to providing the technical expertise and support necessary to guide these decisions.

We hope this newsletter helps you stay connected to the decisions that influence our city’s
