2026 CITY OF SEWARD REGULAR MUNICIPAL ELECTION UNOFFICIAL RESULTS

The final election results will not be available until the Canvass Board has finished counting
all the absentee, special needs, and questioned ballots on Friday, October 9, 2026.

They will be certified at next Monday’s city council meeting.

City Council (two seats available)

The Canvass Board will count an additional 74 ballots which includes:

• 54 Absentee In-Person ballots during AVO
• 1 Special Needs ballots received during AVO
• 8 Absentee By-Mail ballots
• 2 Special Needs ballots on Election Day
• 9 Questioned Ballot on Election Day

(Additional postmarked ballots may be received before the Canvass Board meets)

The Canvass Board will meet on Friday, October 9, 2026, starting at 1:00 p.m. in Council
Chambers. The Canvass Board proceedings are open to the public to observe.

FINAL election results will not be available until the Canvass Board has finished.

The election results will be presented to the City Council on Monday, October 12, 2026, for
certification.
