Notice is hereby given that the vessel listed below has been impounded by the Harbormaster for failure to pay delinquent charges against the vessel. The vessel is located in the Seward Marine Industrial Complex. Notice is further given that a public sale for nonpayment of fees will be held.
Bids must be placed via the Public Surplus website listing from 12:00 pm September 17, 2026 to 12:00 pm October 1, 2026.

The amounts due to the City of Seward include costs generated from interest and penalties on unpaid storage, moorage, surveys, and impounding the vessels. These amounts will be the minimum bids accepted for each vessel. The balance must be paid by wire or credit card through the Public Surplus Website.
Successful bidders of the vessel will have 90 days to remove the vessel from city property.
The owner or owner‘s representative may apply to the Harbormaster to release the vessel from impoundment in accordance with Seward City Code 7.10.740.
The City of Seward may purchase the abandoned property or vessel at the sale for an offset bid in the amount of fees and charges due to the city for the abandoned property or vessel.
Notice Is hereby given that the Harbormaster need not release the abandoned property or vessel from impoundment if the Harbormaster determines that a possession would be unlawful or would present an immediate hazard to public health or safety, or the Harbormaster has actual knowledge that the ownership or possession is in dispute. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
