According to a State Troopers press release, troopers “responded to a residence off Herman Leirer Road in Seward for a report of a burglary. AST responded and contacted the victim, who had arrived home and found that Tyler McLemore, age 34 of Seward, had broken into their apartment through a window and subsequently made a significant mess in the residence, including putting personal objects into the toilet with a pile of feces. Additional information in the investigation led to the admission of arriving at that residence intoxicated alone and leaving the same. McLemore was located by Seward AST on the evening of 8/22/2026 and placed under arrest for Burglary 1 DV, Criminal Mischief 3, Criminal Mischief 5 DV, and DUI. McLemore was transported to Spring Creek Correctional Center and held without bail pending arraignment.”
