April 20, 2026 Seward Folly

An Alaska State Troopers press release reported a severe stabbing incident on Old Nash Road Sunday, April 19. The call came in at 6:36 am. 29-year-old Benjamin Miranda, a Seward High School Graduate, was declared deceased after being transported to Providence Hospital. The next of kin have been notified. There is no danger to the public, according to the Troopers. The investigation is active and ongoing.  

Troopers from Seward and a team of six to eight investigative officers from Soldotna responded to the incident.
