The Lowell Point Volunteer Fire Department would like to publicly thank the Seward Volunteer Ambulance Corps for providing a new MSA 4 gas monitor, calibration gas and regulator to our department.

At the end of 2025, during a call with our department, the Seward Volunteer Ambulance Corps saw that there was a need for a gas monitor. SVAC reached out afterward and offered to purchase this equipment for the community. With a price tag of about $2,000, we were unable to buy it ourselves, as we are a non-tax-based department and rely mainly on grants and donations for equipment needs and upgrades.

We appreciate the Seward Volunteer Ambulance Corps for recognizing this need and stepping up to help. Your support makes a real difference for everyone in Lowell Point.

Thank you,

Lowell Point Volunteer Fire Department
