Award-winning violin legend Tim Kliphuis and gypsy jazz guitarist Jimmy Grant celebrated the music of famed musical duo Stéphane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt at the high school last week.

“Django Under Paris Skies” was a breath of fresh air in Seward on a dark February night.

The Seward Arts Council had a fun little reception at the Gateway afterwards. The duo left the next day on a tour of Alaska, before heading to the Lower 48.
