December 11, 2025 By Kat Sorensen

As we begin to close out the year together, I want to thank everyone who joined us at the
City Hall Christmas Tree Lighting. Seeing families, neighbors, and volunteers gathered in
the glow of the tree was a meaningful reminder of what community looks like—especially
during this busy season.

This Monday marks our final Council meeting of 2025, and there is still important work
underway across the City. Departments are wrapping up year-end projects, preparing for
a smooth transition into the new year, and advancing the operational and infrastructure
efforts that carry Seward forward.

On the agenda, Council will consider several items tied to equipment
upgrades and long-term community development, helping set the foundation for the
work ahead in 2026.

Thank you for staying engaged and informed as we bring this year’s Council work to a
close. Your participation continues to shape the momentum we carry into the new year.
