As the new school year gets underway, parents are encouraged to talk with their children about the importance of following school bus rules. Simple reminders — like staying seated, listening to the driver, and keeping your hands, feet, and objects to yourself — help ensure that every ride to and from school is a safe one.

The latest Seward school bus schedules are now available for families. These schedules make it easy for students and parents to plan their mornings and afternoons.

Finally, our schools are looking for community members to serve as bus drivers and monitors. Driving a school bus is a great job for parents, as students can ride along to and from school. The monitor position is a great job for anybody working at the school, as they can start and end their day at the bus barn and get off at the school with the students. The application for bus drivers is here, and the application for monitors is here. For bus drivers, there is a $1,000 hiring bonus and paid CDL training.
